I’m just a small-town girl from the South of England who always knew she was meant for more… I just had no clue what “more” even looked like.

Six years ago, you’d have found me in my so-called “dream job” - dragging myself out of bed, running on caffeine and sarcasm, and mentally counting down to the weekend before midday on a Monday. I could see it all: the beige, soul-sucking future stretching out ahead of me.

Nope. Not something I wanted to RSVP to.

Art has always been my escape hatch. I got it from my mum - AKA the craftiest person you've ever seen! From painting to needle felting to paper cutting, I’ve dabbled in it all… but then came embroidery. And ohhh boy, I fell hard.

Turns out, it was my one-way ticket out of corporate hell, and building a little live I actually loved.

What started as a hobby during a lonely lockdown quickly turned into something bigger. Friends wanted patterns. Strangers on Instagram started asking questions. Suddenly, there was a spark of possibility: maybe this thing I loved could actually support me.

That’s when I discovered email marketing.
